  • Congratulations to Ben Clarke in Year 7, who has just been awarded The Royston Rugby Club Chairman’s Cup for the 2017/18 season - presented by Saracens and England legend Billy Vunipola. A great accolade.
  • On Sunday, Mrs Humphrey attended her training to be a hockey games maker in the upcoming Vitality Women’s Hockey World Cup this July/ August. She will be in the information centre in the Fan Central or Arena near the Olympic Park in London. If you are attending any of the games, do go in and say ‘hello!’
  • On Tuesday, more than 20 sports leaders helped with the School Sport Partnership L2 Mini-Tennis Festival. Our Year 9 new cohort were ably assisted by some experienced Year 10 Leaders to run a very successful afternoon of mini tennis. Many thanks to all who helped. Special mention goes to Emily Walter, who was nominated as leader of the day by visiting staff and parents. Rogan McCormick was also praised by the organisers of the whole tournament.  Other nominations from staff were: Finlay for encouraging all players, showing motivation and a caring attitude towards players who were struggling, and Aiden, for being very clear and encouraging and following the game well. A good job - well done!
  • On Wednesday, the Year 7 athletic teams had their first competition at Bottisham Village College. They had some great results, including: Isabella Cousins winning the yr7 girls javelin and Hattie Henry winning yr7 girls 100M & 200M. Daisy Adams came 2nd in yr7 girls 1500M and Abi Rickells 2nd in Long Jump. 4x100M team came 2nd out of 9 teams. Well done to all.
  • This week has seen the Year 11 students finish their GCSEs in PE, RE and Ethics and French . We wish them well in their results.
  • Next Friday, 25th is our Year 7 Science / History trip to Warwick Castle. Please remember to
