Red Noses Everywhere

Red Nose Day hasn't gone unmarked at Melbourn Village College with students dressing down for the day and paying for the privilege raising a fabulous £402. Eighty red noses have also been sold adding another £80 to the total. Cakes sales have been taking place all over the college raising even more money in the most delicious way. Ewan Walpole and Alex Pollard combined the experience as part of a mini enterprise project. They costed how much the cakes would cost to make, actually made and decorated them themselves and sold them during break and lunchtime on Friday. The grand total raised will follow shortly. Well done to everyone who took part today and we hope that the amount raised tonight breaks all records.
