Phasel Woods
19th July 2018
Having a lovely time here at Phasels Wood. On Tuesday we started with pioneering techniques, starting with knots and making basic wooden frames. The teams then created their own shelters using materials nearby which we tested to see if they were waterproof! We also learned how to conceal ourselves in the wood and spot camouflaged items with only one team managing to find me as I was too well hidden.
In the afternoon we went on the climbing wall and our instructors were impressed with the determination and skill that all students showed in tackling the wall. Finally in the evening with celebrated Sophia’s birthday with a surprise partyand chocolate cake.
On Wednesday the students went out on an adventure trek, learning how to navigate and survive in the wilderness and later will be taking part in climbing, low ropes and underground tunnel course.
