Careers Day

Year 9 and 11 students have been taking part in a careers advice day during an event organised with the help of Form the Future (www.formthefuture.org.uk) bringing together a wide range of local businesses enabling students to ask lots of questions and broaden their options about their futures.  The companies who took part included a local firm of solicitors, an accountancy firm and TTP who have recently pledged £100,000 to the Melbourn science deparment over the next two years. Mrs Lawrence also stepped in when one company couldn’t make it to enlighten students about a possible career in teaching.
